Operating Principle

Adsorption Technology

AD series units operate on an adsorption principle using two separate air streams. Process air passes through the silica gel rotor; the silica gel absorbs water vapour from the air, drying it. As the rotor slowly turns, regeneration air is directed in the opposite direction: heated to +100°C by electric heaters, this airstream strips the absorbed moisture from the rotor, restoring its initial adsorption capacity. The moisture-laden regeneration air is then discharged to the outside.

Process Air Inlet

Humid air passes through a G4 filter and is directed to the silica gel rotor; the fan drives the airstream using negative pressure.

Adsorption

The silica gel rotor adsorbs water vapour from the process air; the dried airstream is delivered to the process or conditioned space.

Regeneration

Electric heaters raise regeneration air temperature to ~100°C; this hot airstream passes through the rotor in the opposite direction, stripping and expelling moisture.

Continuous Cycle

The rotor slowly rotates between adsorption and regeneration zones, providing uninterrupted dehumidification.

Materials & Structural Features

Housing

Galvanised painted steel (standard); optional AISI 304 stainless steel (TX/TTX). Removable top and front panels for easy maintenance.

Silica Gel Rotor

High-efficiency silica gel rotor; low air pressure drop, long service life and consistent adsorption capacity.

Drive System

Gearmotor (10 W) and belt drive system; stable operation.

Regeneration Heater

Electric: steel element star-connected heating coil; 75–252 kW installed power. Steam (optional): AISI 304 stainless steel tube steam coil, 78.9–272.4 kW output; 118–402 kg/h steam consumption at 6 bar; 100°C temperature rise in heating coil.

Fans

Process (4–15 kW) and regeneration (2.2–5.5 kW) fans directly coupled to IP55 / ISO F class motors; optional frequency converter for speed control.

Filters

Standard G4 filters on both process and regeneration air inlets; optional higher-grade filters.

PLC Control

PLC control with touch-screen display; regeneration temperature regulation, alarm management, RH/dew point control and BMS integration.

Communication

RS485 ModBus + TCP-IP ModBus standard; factory-fitted communication infrastructure on all models.
