Operating Principle

How Adsorption Technology Works

Silica gel rotor dehumidifiers operate on the adsorption principle with two separate airstreams. Process air passes through the silica gel rotor; the silica gel adsorbs water vapour from the air, drying it. As the rotor slowly rotates into the regeneration zone, hot air is sent in reverse to strip moisture from the rotor and restore its initial adsorption capacity. This continuous cycle ensures uninterrupted dehumidification.

Process Air Intake
Humid air passes through a G4-class filter and is directed to the silica gel rotor.

Adsorption
The silica gel rotor adsorbs water vapour from the air and delivers dry air to the process outlet.

Regeneration
Heated regeneration air passes through the rotor in reverse, stripping moisture and exhausting it outside.

Continuous Cycle
The slowly rotating rotor operates continuously across adsorption and regeneration zones.
